Dragon Wing Tutorial by NakaseArt Dragon Wing Tutorial by NakaseArt
Whipped this tutorial up for some deviants who needed some help drawing wings, and where/how they connect to the body.

This is a fantastic quick tutorial! Thank you! It makes me curious about how they'd work with horses (like demon pegasus)

Thank you so much =)
It would take some engineering because a horse body doesn't have a tail to steer it in the air realistically. I'd suggest thinking through some of Earth's flying or gliding creatures to figure out how it can be done.

Lol I get the most favorites on these tutorials. XD I've debated on either remaking them into one tutorial or deleting them all.

I don't mind at all ^^ It's why I made it.

Looking real nice :aww: Next thing I'd suggest is looking into the muscle groups of arms/legs. Lots of scale work takes patience, keep it up :D

Thanks for making this tut. I always have great ideas for wings, but, whenever I go to put them on paper it's like they don't come out right.. if you know what I mean! XD

I do know what you mean, and looking off of birds and bat have really helped me out a lot. This is more of just my interpretation of nature ^^ Keep working at it and it'll turn out right.

Nice tutorial.

I'm having a really hard time drawing them if the dragon is facing us or walking away. Any advice there? I can't "see" such an object going far into the background. I have some dragon figures, but none of them have folded wings I can copy.
